The Tier – I exam syllabus consists of 200 marks and involves 100 questions. You have to solve all these questions in 60 minutes. The question paper is divided into four subjects. Every subject involves 25 questions, you have to answer a total of 100 questions.

SSC CGL Tier -1 Structure

Under Tier -2, the structure of English Language and Comprehension & Quantitative aptitude is the same as the Tier -1 Exam, but the questions will be more difficult. 

Statistics – Includes Topics Like Statistical Data – Classification & Presentation, Measures of Central tendency, Measures of Dispersion moments, Skewness & Kurtosis, Dispersion Moments, Kurtosis & Skewness, Regression & Correlation, Probability, Probability distributions, Sampling Theory, Time Series And Index numbers, Statistical Inference, Analysis Variance. 

Economics & Governance – With 120 marks, has topics on Comptroller and Auditor, Role plus functions of Commission of Finance, Macroeconomics introduction, Demand and Supply theory, Production & Cost Theory, Market and Price determination, Indian Economic Reforms, Indian Economy, Banking & Money, etc. 

Finance, Accounts – 80 marks question paper has topics, Error Rectification, Loss & Profit Appropriation, Non-Profit Org Accounts, Valuation & inventories, Income & Expenditure accounts, Trading, accounting & depreciation, Self- balancing ledgers, etc.
